by Jake Sanders

Do you need to be a professional photographer to take the best shots? Do you need to own the most expensive camera for you to take breath-taking landscape photos? The answer is no. Taking pictures does not require owning a camera that swallows the budget. It is more of a passion, an interest, a skill.

High-class cameras do have this effect and difference when it comes to result and features but this does not mean that you can never enjoy beautiful photography if you cannot afford one costly camera. Unravel your eye for beauty using your digital camera. You can buy one for a much cheaper price but still use it in capturing the most beautiful things, living and non-living. If you have a Polaroid camera, love it more because it captures the most nostalgic photos.

What should you shoot with your digital Polaroid camera?

Skies- with your digital camera, you can take pictures of the morning sky, the many different cloud formations, and colors of the sunset or the arrival of the dusk. The sky is a vast target and it gives you freedom of face and focus. In general, every person can appreciate photos of it because it is something very familiar but is still mysterious.

Landscapes and Scenery- when you are traveling, see to it that you take photos of the mountains and the other corners. The photos will not only make you remember of the good old trip you made someday but it will also keep you excited as you take an ordinary train or bus ride.

People- snapshot culture, faces, motion and smiles. The world is very interesting and people reflect it. Spontaneous shots are fun and challenging. You can take photos of men drinking coffee along the road, school children on their way to school or construction workers finishing up a building. Keep an eye of anything that people do daily, once you capture it, you will be amazed.

Plants- from flowers to trees, produce refreshing photos. The colors of plants do not only give you the feeling of beauty and freshness but they also help you play with your creativity. Try to find out what is the difference between taking photos of plants during different seasons and compile them.

You- taking self-portraits does not only appeal you as photography enthusiast but it makes you feel great. When you take pictures of your self, you get to know the person in you not only in front of the mirror. Collecting this type of photos can make you feel glad whenever you look back and stare at your old pictures.

Find the digital camera that is just right for your needs and demands online. See to it that you are picking the product that deserves your money. You do not want to end up disappointed with something that would be delivered right at your door, do you?

Photograph Composing

Share
by SFXsource

Photo composition is important because it not only makes your art interesting, but it also keeps the viewer engaged. These tips are meant to help you improve your composition. If you are a beginning photographer, it will take a little bit of time to get an ?eye? for composition, but you will continue to get better.

1. Make sure that you always keep composition in mind. Try not to rely on cropping your photos later. While you can crop your photos later, you will waste a lot of time cropping all of them in order to get an interesting image.

2. You will want to first consider the placement of your subject. You generally want to avoid putting your subject in the middle. Place your subject in a “sweet spot.”

In order to visualize these sweet spots, imagine a blank, rectangular photo. Imagine 2 vertical lines breaking the frame into 3 equal parts. Next, 2 horizontal lines will break the frame into 3 equal parts. These lines will intersect in 4 spots, and these are the sweet spots. These sweet spots are the places to put your subject for a great photo.

3. If you use lines and texture creatively, your viewer will be drawn in. They will also be guided around the photos with these lines.

For example, if your subject is a spiral staircase, the lines will draw the viewer around the entire photo. A cycle can be made if you have grass that draws the viewer from the bottom of the photo to the top, and rays of sun that draw the viewer from the top of the photo to the bottom.

Horizon lines can be placed either above or below the center. Lines from subjects such as trees, ladders, buildings, or railroad tracks can also be used to create strong composition.
